Graphic Designer

I am a seasoned graphic designer with a dynamic career spanning both corporate and studio creative landscapes. Now based in Brisbane, I serve as a director at BHTech, a company that produces high-quality training documentation with exceptional graphics and I also produce high-quality, modern design materials for my fantastic clients at Clear Design Studio.

My design career started in Western Australia, where I began creating safety training materials for the mining industry giant BHP. Jump forward 17 years and I still produce high-end graphics for them today, except now it’s through my own company. Following an exciting offer from my employer back in 2013, I moved across to the creative city of Melbourne to join them in their Victorian office. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of contributing my design expertise over the past decade to captivating projects in the legal and accounting sectors as well.

Being an organised perfectionist, I’m genuinely passionate about design and in simplifying intricate processes. I’ve had some incredible experiences over the course of my career, including several years spent serving as the art director for a monthly magazine with a print run of over 20,000 issues per month and a legacy spanning over 90 years. The Law Institute Journal, which is one of the longest running printed magazines in Australian history.

I’ve produced multiple regular advertisements, which appeared in the Australian Financial Review, both online and printed in their magazines and newspapers. I also produced a published book that delves into the legal history of Australia, which appears in The State Library of Victoria. A wave energy company that I created the branding and design materials for that has raised over $20m to produce a successful renewable energy device and has powered the entirety of King Island located off the coast of Tasmania.

Over the past decade the work I’ve created has been featured on SBS World News and also appears in the Australian National Maritime Museum. Keeping people safe has made my career very meaningful and instructional animations I have produced have been nominated for global safety awards within BHP. I am passionate about modern design and look forward to the next chapter in my fulfilling design career.
